Cub Scout Arrow of Light Plaque
- The process to create the plaque involves choosing the right wood to start with.
- Once the wood has been choosen the board is planned to somewhere between three quarters of an inch and an inch in thickness.
- The work piece is then cut to rough size and sanded as desired before it is brought to the laser.
- The laser will do the engraving on the board to create the plaque.
- Once the workpiece has been removed from the laser the edges are run through the router to give them a nice edge profile.
- Finally multiple coats of the desired finish are sprayed on.
